That is not the bow! I think you need more time on the butorfleoge so you can learn bow and stern. By the time we get to the Bahamas you will really know the difference. Who knows we might even be able to take you to the advanced course and you can learn about Port and starboard. Just kidding. What you see on the stern is our "poop tent". The birds were real busy while we were on the hard. (out of the water)
Okay - I see it now...I was looking at the bottom of the picture and trying to judge by the keel. If only I would have looked up to the top left of the picture - I would have seen the rolled up jib..and Yes, you are right, I don't know sh** about sailing that's why you are the CAPTAIN's...not even sure if that's a jib...
